For 16 years , I have led the development of many programs in Vermont that have created new jobs (in agriculture, food, construction, and energy), wrote law on smart growth and affordable new housing, helped clean the waters of the state, and planned and implemented clean energy.

These jobs have one thing in common: they are creating a stronger local economy—one in Vermont's own best long-term interest, financially and environmentally.
