Thank you Sierra Club of Vermont and Robb Kidd.

It’s a great honor to be supported by Sierra Club, one of America’s oldest environmental organizations, founded by visionary ecologist John Muir.

Vermont’s Sierra Club chapter works—quietly but effectively—to help keep Vermont the clean and green state we all want — but which is, in fact, under increasing pressure from pollution, climate change, and development.

Sierra Club is an important voice in our work to preserve Vermont’s forests—both for their intrinsic value and their ecological services to all of us. They also work on fish and wildlife issues, as well as helping develop our clean energy future — which is essential, as it’s our current fossil-fuel-powered economy that is driving climate change, which, in turn, is causing massive, damaging changes to our home planet.

I recommend visiting their website to see what the modern Sierra Club is doing these days — for the common good. I think you will find that many of your interests are also their interests.

WHAT SIERRA CLUB ESPOUSES, I have been working for at home and in the Vermont Senate.

I hope you will follow Sierra Club’s activist lead:
• SHARE the news of his endorsement, and
• VOTE and TURN OUT your friends to vote.

I ask for your support once again at the polls. Let’s keep moving forward on keeping our state and our planet a healthy place to live.

With gratitude,

—Chris
